DEALING WITH DEBT - 5. THE SOLUTIONS

Debt feels like a lead weight that hangs around your neck. See previous articles here . Freedom from it is an important and a very useful goal to pursue. No matter the amount you owe, it’s possible to finish paying up and be debt free. Getting out of debt is not always an easy ride, but it’s doable, and many people under worse conditions have done it. The truth still remains that you must not be in debt to enjoy the best of life, NO! You mustn’t! Freedom is a better option. God never set us free in so many other areas, so that we could stay as slaves in the area of debt. Pause: Before you lose hope...

I turned on the tap a bit at first, NO WATER! I opened it up more, yet no water. I turned it on to the last point and surprisingly, NO WATER.  WHAT! “This Monday morning! What was I going to do”? I needed water seriously. “Water no dey” Mr Ibom said, Ahh! “E don happen, how do I get water now” I said in my heart. “That one mean say na later in the day them go bring am come” I asked him even though I knew the answer. I got an emphatic YES! I dejectedly walked back to my office with the assumption that there was no water anywhere in the whole yard which automatically meant that I would have to wait for nothing less than five(5) hours before getting water. 30 minutes later... I left everything I was doing, picked up my container and dashed out of my office, with a determination to check other taps that supplied water in the compound.
